How this level is scored

Every lesson awards up to three stars. One star is for finishing, two for finishing accurately, and three for accuracy at the level's pace — speed on its own never earns a star. From Level 11 the lessons let you type straight through a mistake and fix it afterwards, because the goal has shifted from muscle memory to fluency. Words per minute is recorded but never shown to the child — it appears only on the parent and progress pages.
