About this level
Speed over ten seconds is easy. Speed over two minutes is a different skill entirely. These paragraphs build the stamina and concentration that real writing, homework and exams demand.
What you practise here

- Facts and figures — Numbers inside prose. Do not let them break your rhythm. Target: 27 words per minute at 93% accuracy.
- The long haul — Shoulders down, wrists floating, eyes forward. Target: 28 words per minute at 94% accuracy.
- Stamina champion — One long, calm, accurate run. Target: 30 words per minute at 94% accuracy.
How this level is scored
Every lesson awards up to three stars. One star is for finishing, two for finishing accurately, and three for accuracy at the level's pace — speed on its own never earns a star. From Level 11 the lessons let you type straight through a mistake and fix it afterwards, because the goal has shifted from muscle memory to fluency. Words per minute is recorded but never shown to the child — it appears only on the parent and progress pages.
