About this level
Your tall middle fingers get their own keys: D on the left and K on the right. They sit right next to F and J, so your hands barely move. Learn them, then mix them with home base.
What you practise here
- Meet D and K — Middle fingers only. Everything else stays resting on home base. Target: 10 words per minute at 90% accuracy.
- Mix with F and J — Four keys now. Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. Target: 12 words per minute at 92% accuracy.
- Tower challenge — Eyes up. You already know where they are. Target: 14 words per minute at 94% accuracy.
How this level is scored
Every lesson awards up to three stars. One star is for finishing, two for finishing accurately, and three for accuracy at the level's pace — speed on its own never earns a star. Lessons in this level also wait for the correct key: a wrong press does not move the cursor on, so a child cannot practise the wrong finger movement. Words per minute is recorded but never shown to the child — it appears only on the parent and progress pages.
Which finger types each new key
- Press D with your left tall finger.
- Press K with your right tall finger.
